Founder & President
McKenzie (she/her) is a multidisciplinary creator (producer, director, performer) based out of Atlanta, GA. Since it’s inaugural season, she’s strived to make Renegade Theatre Company a home for inclusive community theatre– right here in the heart of Atlanta. Some past directing credits include Cabaret (RTC) which garnered Broadway World Awards nominations for Best Musical, Best Choreography, and Best Ensemble and A Year With Frog & Toad, Anything Goes, and Shrek (Smyrna Village Players). Thank you to our friends at VaHi Church and to the dedicated, talented and grounded Renegades who help make magic happen onstage and beyond.

Recent onstage credits in the Atlanta area include Shrek with Theatre 1548, Godspell with Renegade Theatre Company and A Year with Frog and Toad with Smyrna Village Players as well as performing as an ensemble member of the Atlanta Master Chorale.
When Joey isn’t tracking down his latest story as a broadcast journalist, he loves exploring Atlanta, trying new restaurants and reads, and rooting for his beloved Georgia sports teams. He's very grateful to his wife Hannah for her love and support.
